Today IS the day the blog begins.  I'm finally getting my act together and launching myself upon the poor unsuspecting blogosphere.  So, what's all this then?  Hopefully, I can share some interesting goings on in the colorful world of composers and conductors and yes, my European friends, I will be using AmericaniZed spelling, much to the horror of my Irish Virgoan self.
